What cookies are

When you come back, the browser hands it over again, which is how a site can remember something about your last visit. They are not programs, they cannot read your hard drive, and they cannot see anything you have not given the site.
Other technologies do a similar job, and we treat them the same way in this policy:

Why DigestivEaz.Com uses cookies
Honestly? As little as we can manage. We don't sell supplements, we don't run advertising, and we don't sell personal information, which removes most of the usual reasons a website wants to follow you around. What is left is unglamorous: keep the Site working, remember a preference or two, and understand in aggregate which guides people actually reach.

First-party and third-party cookies
First-party cookies are set by DigestivEaz.Com itself — the theme preference, your cookie choice. Third-party cookies are set by a service we rely on, such as an analytics or email provider. We describe those by category rather than by brand in our privacy policy, because providers can change; what does not change is that they process data on our behalf, under contract, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
How to control cookies
Your browser is in charge here, not us. Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, block them from specific sites, or block them all. Look under:

Very little. DigestivEaz.Com is a static site: the words, the guides and the navigation all work with cookies switched off entirely. You may lose small conveniences — the Site might forget your theme, or ask about cookies again on your next visit — but nothing you came here to read depends on them.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers can send a Do Not Track (DNT) signal or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. There is still no agreed standard for how sites must answer DNT, so many ignore it. Our intent is simpler than a standard: we do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell your data — so there is nothing for these signals to opt you out of. Where GPC carries legal weight in your jurisdiction, we honour it.
Changes to this policy
If we add or remove a cookie category — for example, when we choose an analytics provider — we will update this page and move the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be made obvious rather than slipped in.
