Terms of Service for DigestivEaz.Com
Last updated: July 15, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DigestivEaz at https://digestiveeaz.com (the "Site"). They are a contract between you and us, so we have tried to write them the way we write everything else here: in plain English, without burying the parts that matter.
Acceptance of these Terms
By browsing the Site, subscribing to our newsletter, or sending us anything, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site — that is the whole mechanism, and it applies from your first page view rather than from some later click.
These Terms work alongside our privacy policy, cookie policy, medical disclaimer and editorial policy. Where a specific policy speaks to a specific subject, that policy governs the detail.
Who may use DigestivEaz.Com
The Site is intended for adults, and for readers old enough to form a binding contract where they live. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction). If you are using the Site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
We publish from one place but read from everywhere, and we make no promise that our content is appropriate or available in every location. If you access the Site from somewhere with different rules, complying with local law is your responsibility, not ours.
No medical advice — this matters most
Nothing on this Site creates a doctor–patient, dietitian–client or other professional relationship. Our writers are writers and researchers, and we will never imply otherwise. Reading a guide, emailing us, or subscribing does not put you under anyone's care.
Digestive symptoms overlap. The same bloating can be dull and ordinary or a sign of something that needs attention, and the difference is not visible from here. Persistent, severe, sudden or unusual symptoms belong with a clinician who can examine you. Please read our medical disclaimer in full before acting on anything published on the Site — it is part of these Terms.
Permitted use
You may read, search, print and share the Site for your own lawful, personal, non-commercial use. You may link to any page freely — no permission needed, no attribution formula required. We would rather be linked to than copied.
Things you may not do
The restrictions below exist to keep the Site fast, honest and available to the person who actually needs it at 11pm. You agree not to:
- Scrape or harvest at scale — no crawlers, bots, spiders or automated extraction of our content beyond ordinary search-engine indexing, and never in a way that ignores our robots directives.
- Republish our work — no copying whole guides, or substantial parts of them, onto another site, newsletter, app, PDF or social account.
- Train or ingest without permission — no using our content as material for machine-learning training, fine-tuning or dataset building without our prior written consent.
- Overload or attack the Site — no denial-of-service, credential stuffing, vulnerability probing, or any attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's data.
- Reverse engineer — no decompiling, disassembling or otherwise attempting to derive the source of any part of the Site beyond what applicable law expressly permits.
- Misrepresent us — no framing our content as your own, implying we endorse a product, or using our material to make health claims we have never made.
- Strip our marks — no removing copyright notices, bylines, dates or source links from anything you are permitted to reproduce.
- Break the law — no using the Site for anything unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory or harmful to others.
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, everything on the Site — articles, text, headings, graphics, illustrations, layout, code and design — is owned by DigestivEaz or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Publishing it here does not put it in the public domain.
The name DigestivEaz, the DigestivEaz.Com wordmark, our tagline and our logo are our brand. You may use them to refer to us — in a citation, a link, a review — but not in a way that suggests we produced, endorsed, sponsored or checked your product, service or content.
What you may quote
We want to be quotable, so here is the plain-English licence: you may reproduce short extracts — a sentence or two, a statistic with its context — provided you (a) attribute the quote to DigestivEaz, and (b) include a working, followable link to the page you took it from.
What that does not cover: copying an article in full or in substantial part, rewriting one closely enough that it is our guide wearing a hat, mirroring our pages, or repackaging our content into a competing publication. For anything beyond a short quote — syndication, translation, classroom packs, commercial reuse — email hello@digestiveeaz.com and ask. We answer, and we are more agreeable than this paragraph sounds.
User submissions
You may send us pitches, corrections, questions, feedback or comments ("Submissions"). By sending a Submission, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, adapt and publish it in connection with operating and promoting the Site — including quoting your correction in a guide's revision note.
You keep ownership of what you send. You are responsible for making sure it is yours to send, is lawful, and does not infringe anyone's rights or confidentiality. Please don't send us your medical records or personal health details: we can't advise on them, and we would rather not hold them.
We are under no obligation to publish, respond to, or keep any Submission confidential, and we may edit or remove anything at our discretion. Corrections are the exception we care about — if you think we've got something wrong, tell us, and it goes to the front of the queue.
Third-party links and no endorsement
We link out constantly — that is the point of citing sources rather than asking you to trust us. But a link is a reference, not a recommendation. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, products or privacy practices. Once you leave the Site, their terms apply, not ours.
No sponsored cures, no affiliate shortcuts
Our house rules are also a commitment we are willing to write into our Terms: we don't sell supplements, and we don't take affiliate money for cures. No brand pays for a mention, a ranking or a kind word here. If any commercial relationship ever exists for anything on this Site, it will be labelled where you can see it.
The consequence for you is worth stating plainly: if you encounter a product claim, endorsement or "protocol" attributed to DigestivEaz anywhere off this Site, treat it as false until you find it here.
Accuracy and availability of DigestivEaz.Com
We read the research before we summarise it, we date every guide, and when the evidence moves the guide moves. What we can't promise is perfection. Nutrition and gastroenterology research is live, contested and frequently revised, and a page that was accurate on its review date may be overtaken by better evidence tomorrow.
The Site and everything on it are therefore provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it — including individual guides — at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DigestivEaz, its owners, writers and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or health outcome, arising out of or connected with your use of — or inability to use — the Site or anything you read on it, whether the claim is in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, and even if we have been advised such damages were possible.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DigestivEaz, its owners, writers and contributors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities and reasonable legal costs arising out of your use of the Site, your Submissions, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
Termination
These Terms apply for as long as you use the Site. We may restrict or block access — including at the network level — if we reasonably believe you are scraping, attacking, republishing our content or otherwise breaching these Terms, and we can do so without notice. You can end this agreement at any time by not using the Site.
Sections that by their nature should survive — intellectual property, submissions, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law — survive termination.
Governing law
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which DigestivEaz operates, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remain in full force, and the unenforceable provision will be applied as closely as possible to its original intent.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time — to reflect a change in the law, in how the Site works, or simply because a clause turned out to be unclear. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision, and significant changes will be flagged on this page. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
